August 2, 2006
Time is fast approaching for our return to Columbus and the annual convention.  We are very excited about the lovely facility, Eden Park where our horse activities and annual meeting will take place.  This venue gives stallion owners outstanding opportunites to showcase their "boys" to mare owners.  Right next to the main arena is another indoor arena for warm up with three additional adjacent outdoor rings.  We encourage stallions owners, especially those that have not been seen by the membership recently to join this exceptional opportunity.  It will be very easy for the membership to have plenty of opportunity to see your stallion work.

This year if we receive enough entries we plan to have both a hunter and jumper stake.  We are counting on you to bring your show horses so this can be an exciting climax to the exhibition.  There is room in the schedule for unusual acts so put your thinking caps on and contact me with your ideas.  We want to showcase the wonderful talents of the Trakehner horse and can only do so with participation from the membership.

All approved stallions are welcome in the stallion parade and I feel the schedule will accommodate seeing them under saddle as well.  The sooner you contact me the better your chances for them to have a slot.  Since we have so many rings this is a great place to work up pas de deuxs and pas de trois' etc like we did in the past.

I look forward to a fun filled evening and know with your suppport we can make this a great performance.  Our theme is "A Ride Through The Musical Eras" and we encourage you to dress up yourself and your horse similar to what we would see in Neumunster.

Please contact me as soon as possible.  I  look forward to seeing all of you in November.

Sincerely,
Cindy Fortin
