(This person is responsible for reporting to the Committee Chair and finding people who are willing to help during the convention. She/He is also responsible, along with the Chair, for covering the duties of any of the committees should no one volunteer for the position.)

Hotel Activities
(This person makes sure the hotel has the information they need and is set up for the events that occur there. This also includes helping make food choices for the welcome reception and banquet.)

(This person or persons must make sure that the horses are in the ring in a timely manner from the warm-up area so that there are no delays in the inspections, mare show and exhibition.)

Exhibition
(These people are responsible for contacting people who have Trakehners they are competing in the Region and encouraging them to participate in the exhibition. They should also contact the regions stallion owners and ask if they would like to participate in the stallion parade. They must make tuff decisions on which horse/rider combinations will get to be included. It is their responsibility to keep the exhibition length under control and make sure it moves along without delays.)

Hunter & Jumper Stake
These people work with the Publicity committee to make sure the hunter/jumper community is aware of the stake classes and invite people who are competing on Trakehners to participate. They also direct/help the jump crew in setting the courses and altering the heights of the fences for the jump-offs in the jumper stake. They may also be responsible for designing a course that can be used first for the hunter stake and with little change be used for the jumper puissance.)

(These people go out into the region and membership and look for people willing to donate money for the stake class purses.)

Stabling
(These people check the horses in as they arrive and take shavings orders and payment for those shavings. They also put the name tags on the stall doors and make sure all people handling horses have signed a liability waiver and have an armband.

These people send out letters or otherwise contact prospective companies and business for donations of merchandise or money that can be used as door prizes, awards or raffel items.

Clinics & Seminars
(These people find within the attending membership or in the area people who are qualified to give educational presentations to during the convention. The number of these presentations is governed by the number of horses to be inspected so finding possibilities and confirming them after the inspection application deadline is necessary. The ATA does not pay for clinicians nor cover their expenses.

(This person must contact stallion owners and ask if they would be willing to donate a breeding in return for a Platinum Sponsorship. If so they must get the donation form signed and returned to Pam for each stallion.
