Jumper Calcutta

Thursday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. the bidding will be held for the Jumper Calcutta. Bring your checkbook, cash or cc to settle your bids at the conclusion of the bidding. The person who had the highest bid on the winning horse will get their percent of the pot at the conclusion of the Jumper Stake.

What is a Calcutta?
The term "Calcutta" describes a type of auction-pool wagering that can be applied to golf and many other sporting events,
in this case the Jumper Puissance. All the money raised through the "auction" goes into the pot. At the end of the Puissance the person who "won" the winner of the class will get a percentage of the pot with the remainder going to the ATA.

Mare and Young Horse Show
Hunter and Jumper Stakes

We have $4000 pledged for the stake classes so far!

All horses participating in the mare show or stake classes must be registered or registration pending with ATA/NATA. Imported Trakehners who are registered with a German affiliated Trakehner registry are also eligible.
Mare and Broodmare classes will be judged on suitability as breeding stock.
Young horse classes are judged on conformation and suitability to be performance horses.
Classes will be run in format of USDF Dressage Sport Breeding Classes. (shown on the triangle) Two year olds and older to be shown in bridles, halters permitted on those horses under 2 years old.

Stallion candidates will not be allowed to show.

Tent stalls are 10' X 10' and will cost $85.
If you would like to have a double stall we can have that done when the tents are put up. The double stalls will be 10' X 20' and will cost $170. Please make a note on the stabling form if you want a double stall.
Anyone that did not see this before they sent in their stabling form can contact me to have the second stall added to their cc or send me another check. Be sure to contact me immediately with the change so that the stall can be calculated into the total number.

So far we have $4000 pledged for the stake classes.

Stabling
Stabling will be temporary stalls under a tent. Stallions only will be stabled in permanent stalls. There will be no tack stalls allowed in permanent stalls. We must order a given number of stalls so it is important that everyone bringing a horse get a stabling form in by the due date. This applies to stallions and stallion candidates as well. If you do not reserve a stall by the due date you will likely not have one available to you.

Broodmare Silent Auction

Marschmarigold (f. 4/14/96) by Pajou out of Marschlied by Antritt.  16.3h.  Her inspection scores were 7, 7/7, 7/7/7, 7 = 49.  The comments included "pleasing type, good rectangular frame, and a very good temperament."  She is a striking copper mare with 4 white socks and a stripe.  She is very beautiful with ground sweeping long strides.  She settles in foal easily and has thrown attractive and very trainable offspring.  She had a lovely Tigre filly in 2004 and a very handsome stallion prospect by Tigre in 2006.  She currently is confirmed in foal to Tigre.  Selling as a broodmare, not sound to ride.  No vices or health problems, she gets along just fine in a group.  We like everything she has produced.  Minimum bid is $5,000 with anything above that being split 50/50 between Rolling Oaks Farm and the ATA. High Bidder will be responsible for transporting mare from Rolling Oaks farm in IL.

Thank you to Rolling Oaks for the donation of this mare.
