Nanita
By Tarim out of Norita *M* by Butow *E*
Foaled April 25, 1997

Purebred OSB mare, in foal to Pajou for 2007. (Sells with LFG for return to Pajou on farm AI, or on farm or shipped fresh cooled for Donaudeen in 2007. Should a rebreed be necessary the high bidder will be responsible for any cost associated with rebreeding.)
Her inspection scores are 8, 8/8, 8/7/7, 8 = 54. Comments include "a good feminine matronly type mare with lots of harmony and balance. Good uphill frame with a strong coupling and a good neck set. Good legs. Good elastic ground covering walk. High quality mare with a good temperament and considerable athleticism."
She is very much like her dam, the ATA's first Model Mare, and has proven to be a reliable broodmare who produces quality foals. She is a lovely mare who is sound, no vices, no illness or injury. We never rode her - she went right to the breeding shed. She was last bred to Pajou on 8/14/06 and confirmed in foal on 8/30/06. A recheck will be done at 30 days. She is accustomed to being in a herd and gets along well with others - not the aggressive type. She is currently living on a pasture with run-in shed with 4 other mares who are fed as a group.
Breeding history
This mare is very fertile and conceives of first insemination. She has not been bred annually due to the current owners cutting back on their breeding.
A culture will be done on her next cycle and the results will be posted here.
The minimum bid will be $3,000 with any amount above that split 50/50 between Rolling Oaks and the ATA. So a $5,000 winning bid would get the ATA $1,000.
The high bidder will be responsible for transporting the mare to her new home from Rolling Oaks Farm. She will not be transported to Columbus for the Convention.
This mare has be donated to the ATA silent auction by Rolling Oaks Farm. Should you need additional information on her please contact Marcia.
